The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Dhakuakhana College was formed in 30th December, 2004, soon after the cycle I accreditation of NAAC in November,2004.The IQAC targets basically to improve the overall performance of the college and has been striving for a significant and meaningful contribution in the post-accreditation phase. The Cell has been correlating the measures and efforts for achieving academic excellence.
To initiate the process of enhancing and sustaining the quality education in the college is the primary aim of IQAC.
IQAC aims to enforce the mechanisms for ensuring:
a) Progressive and efficient performance of academic, administrative and financial activities.
b) The relevance and quality of research programs.
c) Equitable access to and affordability of academic programs for various sections of society.
d) Facilitating the modern methods of teaching and learning.
e) Effective evaluation procedures.
f) Improvement and maintenance of the support structure and services.
g) Research sharing and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.
Some of the functions of the IQAC are:
a) Developing and applying the quality modules for academic and administrative activities of the college.
b) Organizing workshops, seminars for improvement of quality of the performance of the college.
c) Acting as a coordinating agency for quality improvement of the College.
d) Recording various schemes, programs, activities, achievement regarding quality improvement.
e) Preparation of Annual Quality Assurance Report based on quality Parameters.
f) Inspecting and acting as a coordinating agency for all sort of extension activities for academic excellence, community mobilization, empowering the under privileged, upholding local culture and heritage.
